What is this? Well, it's just a presentation page about me. It's in english, while my native language is italian. I think it could be useful to have something like this page, to allow people from all over the world to know a bit about myself. If you understand Italian, you can find more info on my blog.

Why Garakkio?

Garakkio is after Garak. Garak is a character in TV series Star Trek Deep Space 9. It was around 1995, when I started to surf the Internet: in those days, the first episodes of DS9 were airing on italian TV, and I liked so much Garak that I chosen his name as my nick. Since then, I always used Garak and often Garakkio as nick (since it happens that Garak is already taken: Star Trek is a very popular series in the world!)
